The Area 10 Board of Directors election has concluded. We welcome Corbin Rasmussen to the Board as Chair-Elect, and Sharon Ross as Secretary. Corbin has committed to a 6 year progression from chair-elect, to chair, to past chair. Sharon will serve for the next 4 years, replacing Shosh Meyer. Many, many thanks to Shosh for her enthusiasm and service to Area 10, along with Barb Silvey who just completed her 6 year term through the “chair” path. Thank you also to Debra Pankaskie for stepping forward, willing to serve.
As of October 1, Tomi Kent stepped up to chair from chair-elect, and Shelley Giaier moved to past-chair from chair. Area 10 is fortunate to have such quality individuals willing to donate their time and talents to further the mission of Area 10.
The next elections will be in 2026, when we will be electing a Chair-elect and a Treasurer. In addition to these 5 elected positions, Area 10 also relies on the 5 state chairs, the Membership Chair, Events Chair, and Communications Chair to help guide and administer Area 10. Please think how you may best help Area 10 and get involved.
